5 Movements was a work commissioned by the Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio as part of their Sonorous series, which invites artists to engage with the MESS collection for an octophonic electro-acoustic format. For this work, I used live keyboard input and computer hand vision gestural controls to choreograph sound in 3-dimensions. This work used no pre-recorded elements and one MESS instrument - the classic Doepfer A-100. In transforming sound simply through movement, I challenge the audience to visualise its trajectory.
